1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Valero and noticed something strange: every time he opened the gas station door, it emitted a faint humming sound like an old radio warming up. As days passed, the hum grew louder until one evening, while filling his truck, the delivery driver heard a voice coming from inside: 'Fill her up, son!' Turned out it was just an old transistor radio left on by a regular who always forgot. From then on, whenever anyone filled up at Valero, they’d hear that same warm-up hum—and sometimes even catch snippets of old-timey music.

2. One day, while pumping gas, a regular asked the clerk, ‘Do you ever wonder why there’s always a line of ants marching across that hose?’ The clerk shrugged and said, 'I guess they’re just following their little ant GPS.' A delivery driver chimed in, ‘Maybe they’re heading for that picnic area by the pumps!’ Everyone laughed, and the regular nodded knowingly.
