One evening, a delivery driver mentioned to an old neighbor that maybe the dog was picking up scents from some exotic cleaning products they used late at night. The next morning, everyone gathered for coffee and laughed as the boy proudly announced, ‘My dog finally found us the best-smelling gas station around!’

2. At closing time, an old man walked into Pilot and announced, 'I’ll take one last fill-up before the ghosts come out.' The cashier just smiled, knowing exactly what he meant. As the night grew darker, a delivery driver approached the counter, asking for his usual tank of gas. Smiling knowingly, the cashier filled up the truck while whispering, ‘Better hurry, pal—those ghosts are getting restless.’ The driver nodded, grinning broadly, and drove off into the moonlit streets, leaving behind only the soft hum of engines and whispers in the empty station.

3. At dawn, when most gas stations are quiet, a delivery driver pulled up to Pilot. He noticed something odd—an empty coffee cup floating in mid-air near the window. Curious, he leaned closer and heard soft laughter coming from inside. The coffee cup vanished with a wink, replaced by an old man sipping a steaming cup of joe. ‘Morning,’ said the man cheerfully. ‘Thought you could use some company.’ Turned out it was just a friendly neighborhood ghost who liked free coffee.

4. At midnight, when the gas station's pumps hummed softly, a sleepy voice whispered from behind the counter: "Last customer of the night? Or ghostly visitor?" A delivery driver, yawning and rubbing his eyes, approached the counter. ‘I thought I was the last one,’ he muttered. The voice replied, ‘Welcome to Pilot, where every night is Halloween!’
