2. No one seemed to notice until the receptionist looked up from her computer screen and whispered, 'I’ve never seen him here before.' Just then, an older gentleman walked in, scratching his head. ‘Excuse me,’ he said, ‘is this place closed? I thought I saw a sign for “Doggy Dentist” out front.’ Everyone burst out laughing, including the little dog who wagged his tail proudly.

4. One morning, a voice crackled over the intercom: ‘Attention please—we’ve found a stray penguin in Room 3.’ The receptionist looked around, puzzled. 'I’ll take him,' said an elderly gentleman from the waiting room, pulling on his sweater sleeves. 'He reminds me of my pet penguin back home.' The staff exchanged amused glances as the man walked off with the flapping creature under his arm.
