About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dusk, a regular muttered to himself as he pushed his shopping cart down the aisle: ‘I swear I just saw that same box of cereal on the other side of the store.’ Just then, an impatient delivery driver yelled from across the parking lot: ‘Hey, you! Stop staring at those cans and drive your cart out already!’ The man looked around sheepishly, realizing no one else was there but him—and laughed softly to himself, pushing his cart back towards the exit. At home later, his wife asked curiously, ‘What’s so funny?’ He shrugged and replied, “Nothing much, hon. Just Walmart being Walmart.”
2. In the late afternoon, a little boy followed his mom into Walmart. As she loaded groceries onto the conveyor belt, he pointed excitedly at an aisle. ‘Mom,’ he whispered, ‘look! The shelves are dancing!’ His mother smiled and gently shook her head, thinking it was just the fluorescent lights playing tricks on him. But as they walked down that aisle, everyone else seemed to notice too—a slow, rhythmic swaying of the cans and boxes. A nearby delivery driver chuckled, saying, 'Guess those shelves needed some exercise today!' And so began the urban legend of the dancing Walmart aisles.
3. At closing time, an exhausted delivery driver locked up the Walmart and headed for the exit. Suddenly, he heard someone whisper behind him: ‘Don’t forget your change.’ He stopped, fumbled in his pocket, and found a handful of pennies. Turning around, he saw no one but heard the whisper again: 'You missed a dime!' The delivery driver laughed, unlocked the door, and went home, wondering if maybe it was just his imagination—or perhaps Walmart had a very chatty cash register.'
4. At midnight, a sleep-deprived night stocker heard something strange coming from the frozen foods aisle. The hum of the freezer sounded like a distant hummingbird's song. Curious, he crept closer and noticed a small penguin toy wobbling on an ice cube tray. Startled by his own shadow, it began flapping its wings frantically, creating that eerie sound. Turns out, a delivery driver had accidentally left it in the freezer. Everyone had a good laugh the next morning—except maybe the poor penguin, who was now permanently retired from chilling duties.
