About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to the clinic and muttered under his breath, ‘This place is cursed.’ Ever since then, everyone who works there swears they’ve heard strange whispers late at night. One evening, a neighbor stopped by to drop off some cookies. As she walked away, she overheard someone whispering, ‘These are the best damn cookies I ever had!’ Since then, everyone jokes that the clinic must be haunted by a sugar-addicted ghost.
2. A nurse walked into the staff room and exclaimed, 'I just saw something strange!' Curious colleagues crowded around her. 'What happened?' someone asked. She replied, 'This old lady came in for a check-up, and when I asked how she felt today, she said, “Better than the last time I visited here!”' Another colleague chimed in, ‘That’s because you’re always telling them everything will be fine!’ The nurse laughed, shaking her head. ‘Next thing you know,’ she added, ‘she’ll say she feels better than ever before visiting us.’
3. Late one night, a delivery driver approached the clinic’s loading dock with a mysterious package. As he unloaded it, a shadowy figure seemed to appear out of nowhere, watching him intently from behind a nearby tree. The delivery driver glanced around nervously but saw no one else. Just as he was about to leave, the shadow stepped into the light—a friendly neighborhood nurse, who smiled and asked if he needed help carrying anything inside. The driver laughed sheepishly, realizing he’d been spooked by an ordinary night shift worker.
4. Late one night, a delivery driver approached the clinic’s loading dock with a mysterious package. As he signed for it, the security guard overheard an odd announcement on the intercom: ‘Attention all staff—please be advised that your new office plants are sentient.’ The next morning, everyone in the clinic was buzzing about the talking plants. A regular patient asked the receptionist if they could take one home as a pet. The receptionist shrugged and said, 'Why not? They seem pretty friendly.' And so began the clinic's new tradition of sending patients home with their very own chatty houseplant.
